How do I collaborate?
This flowchart below illustrates our process:
Australian code of practice for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.
All research conducted with animals at ANSTO is done in accordance with the Australian code of practice for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes (7th Ed., 2004). All proposals involving animals must be approved by the relevant Animal Care and Ethics Committee.
Please read the Guidelines for collaborative projects with ANSTO before starting an Expression of Interest or Application form.
The starting point for a collaboration is usually an Expression of Interest (EOI). ANSTO accepts expressions of interest (EOIs) throughout the year, however applications are reviewed quarterly.
Submitting an Expression of Interest
To obtain an EOI form please email ANSTO's research office. Our research contacts shows our scientists fields of expertise, research interests, and contact information. Once you have completed the form email it back to the research office. If the file is larger than 5Mb please contact us for further instructions.
The EOI review team will assign an appropriate ANSTO staff member (Champion) to work with you to complete the application form.
Submitting a detailed proposal
To obtain a detailed proposal form please email the ANSTO research office. Complete the form in collaboration with your ANSTO Champion. Email the completed proposal form to the ANSTO research office. If the file is larger than 5Mb please contact the ANSTOs research office for instructions.
If your proposal requests collaboration with the Solid Targetry platform or the ANSTO/BMRI platform, please mention this in your email as these need different forms.
