Role at ANSTO


Tom is a research scientist focused on the use of radioactive and stable isotopes as tracers of ecological processes within the aquatic environment. Areas of study include metal bioaccumulation by freshwater invertebrates, the impacts of mining on aquatic ecosystems and water usage by Australian trees subjected to stressors such as drought conditions and increased salinity.
