Role at ANSTO
Brett is currently employed as an Analytical Experimental Officer within the Institute Environmental Research (IER). His work in this position entails the preparation and analysis of samples for internal and external clients using IC, ICP-AES and ICP-MS.
Brett can also be called upon to assist other staff members within the IER a workloads fluctuate. Since commencing employment with ANSTO in 2007, Brett has worked in the Environmental Monitoring Laboratory until he joined the IER early in 2011 working initially in gamma spectrometry prior to taking up his present position.
Expertise
Gamma spectrometry, gross alpha beta gas proportional counting, Tritium analysis, OSL Dating, XRD and field sampling and methodology.

- BSc (Distinction) majoring in Chemistry and Geology 2009.
