Ms Karyn Wilde is a researcher within the National Deuteration Facility. She has a BBiotech (Hons) from Flinders University of SA and experience with a wide range of microbiological techniques (both aerobic and anaerobic). She has research experience working with multi-disciplinary teams in various projects that have included the investigation of microbial measures as bioindicators of the impact of mine-related pollution, research into the effects and mechanisms of action of metals to a freshwater alga and characterisation of biomolecules by neutron scattering and complementary techniques. She is currently involved in the formation of a biodeuteration facility at ANSTO for production of deuterated biomolecules.
