In mid 2007, as part of a collaboration with the New Zealand instititions, Industrial Research Limited and HTS-110, a novel high-Tc superconducting 5T magnet will become available for use. A solidworks image of the magnet, with dimensions is shown below. There are windows to allow the neutrons to pass in the axial or transverse direction. The sample is mounted in a closed cycle cryofurnace which allows the temperature to be varied from 6K to 800K.
