To be held at the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney, the 4-day ECRIS 2012 workshop will focus on the latest developments in performance, modelling and applications of ECR ion sources along with the associated physics and technologies.

Event name: 12th South Pacific Environmental Radioactivity Association Conference

The Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation and the Australian Institute for Nuclear Science and Engineering are hosting the 12th SPERA conference from the 16th until the 19th October 2012 at ANSTO's Lucas Heights campus.
One of the focus areas will be the release of radionuclides into the environment following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
