Andre gained his PhD in Physics in 2001 from Technical University Dresden after which he worked as an instrument scientist at the small-angle neutron scattering facilities at the Hahn-Meitner institute (HMI) and the ASAX synchrotron beamline at Bessy in Berlin, Germany.

Research interests:

Soft matter physics, magnetic materials, polarised neutron and small-angle neutron and x-ray scattering, mathematics of data analysis.
