If disaster struck, the plane went down or zombies attacked would you know what to do? In this totally outrageous day of fun we learn how science can help you survive. Our disasters workshop will teach you all about how natural disasters occur and why. When the lights go out - learn about electricity and build a mini-generator before it’s too late. It takes a lot of skills to survive. Use communication, flags and codes to see if you can signal a rescue. Learn about filtration and separation, but is it enough to pass the water taste test.
Please bring food, drinks and a hat for morning tea break. Workshop starts at 9am, please arrive 15 minutes before at the ANSTO Discovery Centre.
