Amanda has been at ANSTO since November 2022 and is responsible for overseeing ANSTO’s Risk & Assurance function, advising and reporting on a broad range of organisational risks and threats, including those associated with nuclear operations. Her role includes the position of Chief Audit Officer.
She is responsible for assisting the organisation with demonstrating its ability to safeguard, protect and enhance ANSTO’s reputation and to ensure that it operates in an efficient, effective, safe, sustainable and ethical manner, compliant with legal and regulatory obligations.
Amanda has a proven track record in leading enterprise-wide operational risk and compliance transformations for complex and highly regulated businesses, most recently in Westpac where she shaped, developed and operated a first line risk capability for the global end-to-end risk management of Westpac’s Financial Markets business. She has a foundation in science, Big 4 audit and consulting, risk and compliance operations and professional standards.
