First experiment using the new Gas-Handling/Sorption System

Today, we conducted the first user experiment using the new gas-handling/sorption system (from Hiden Isochema), which was funded as part of the Australian Government’s 2009 Super-Science Initiative.

The particular experiment was done by Yoji Kobayashi (Kyoto University) and co-workers on our WOMBAT high-intensity powder diffractometer and was entitled “Visualizing Hydride Diffusion in Oxyhydrides at Intermediate Temperatures”
