Staff Changes at the Bragg Institute

In the last month, a number of significant staff changes have occurred in the Institute:  firstly, Dr. Helen Maynard-Casely joins our team of powder-diffraction scientists on our WOMBAT high-intensity powder diffractometer, most recently from the Australian Synchrotron; and secondly, two of our postdoctoral fellows have secured positions at leading overseas neutron sources - Bob Aldus has moved to the FRM-II Research Reactor in Munich, and Ben Kent has taken a position at the Helmholtz Zentrum in Berlin, both in Germany.  We wish both Bob and Ben well.  Helen is an expert in high-pressure physics, as applied to problems in the earth and planetary sciences.
