What is the ANM project timeline?


Construction of Australia’s new nuclear medicine production facility began in mid 2014 and remains on target for construction to be completed in 2017.

As of October 2016, the progress on construction included:

 

  • Over 861 tonnes of steel reinforcement in place
  • In excess of 110 tonnes of structural steel installed
  • More than 5558m3 of concrete poured
  • Over 580m3 of high density concrete poured

  Siting licence granted from ARPANSA
 

2014


   Licence issued for the construction of Synroc waste processing plant 
 

2015


  Construction of nuclear medicine production plant commenced 
 

2017


  Due to complete construction of the facility
