The Institute for Environmental Research at ANSTO is pleased to host the 13th Australasian Environmental Isotope Conference (AEIC) to be held from 8 - 10 July 2015 at the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay in Sydney, NSW.

The applications of stable and radio isotopes to understand environmental processes have expanded tremendously over the last few decades.

The Australasian Environmental Isotope Conference (AEIC) is held every two years and provides a relaxed forum for Australasian scientists and natural resource managers to meet and discuss advances, applications and the integration of environmental isotopes in all aspects of environmental sciences and natural resource management.

The meeting will consist of both Oral and Poster presentations. Applications of stable and radioactive isotopes that advance our understanding in all aspects of natural environments, both past and present, will be considered for presentation.

The major themes for the 13th AEIC are:

1. Isotopes in terrestrial and aquatic ecology
2. Isotopes in hydrology and hydrogeology
3. Isotopes in global environmental change science
4. Isotopes in geochronology and environmental studies
5. Isotopes in natural resource management
6. Frontiers and advances in isotope techniques

The conference will run two parallel sessions over three days to facilitate a broad range of interesting topics. We encourage you to participate in this conference and share your experience with your colleagues.
