Venue

The DENIM conference will be held at the state of the art UTS Campus (University of Technology, Sydney) Faculty of Engineering and IT

In 2014, UTS unveiled its new Engineering and IT Building, the single-largest facility to be constructed under UTS’s $1 billion City Campus Master Plan.  It accommodates the Faculty of Engineering and IT, along with the majority of its specialist facilities, for the first time in the faculty’s history. Rising 13 storeys above the ground, the building, designed by Melbourne-based architects Denton Corker Marshall, is encased in a dramatic ‘binary screen’ and features state-of-the-art teaching, learning and research spaces throughout.

UTS received funding from both federal and state governments for the building, including a $50 million Education Investment Fund (EIF) grant from the Australian Government Department of Industry, Innovation, Climate Change, Science, Research and Tertiary Education.

WI-FI at UTS

Wi-Fi will be available for all delegates while on campus you will be provided your own unique log in and password once you have registered on your first day.

Some company laptops have blocks on them from joining other networks and servers. I would recommend that any delegates that wish to join UTS wi-fi double check with their IT department that they can do this on their laptop prior to arriving. Should you need information about connecting to Wi-fi please see this link
