Top Coder Competition 2017

We invite schools to enter two students from year 5 or 6 in the ANSTO Top Coder Competition 2017. Students will work collaboratively in a fun and enthusiastic atmosphere with coding coaches to foster and develop their 'Healthy living' ideas into finished games, animations, art music or stories.

A careers day focussing on the diverse career pathways inside a major scientific and engineering facility. A panel of scientists will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the interesting and various career pathways they took to arrive at ANSTO.

Light and Colour

Explore the magic of light as students catch, bounce, split and focus light. Students will love using the assortment of torches, mirrors and lenses.

Maker Mayhem 

Using a range of materials, including Lego Technics, students will learn all about how things move and investigate mechanical systems like gears and pulleys. We'll then explore how science and engineering can be used to make art as we build Scribblebots to take home, playing with different designs to create awesome patterns. Presented by Fizzics Education.
