Since its inception the Wagga meeting has aimed to provide an accessible venue for students to attend and present their work, while also creating a program which includes a selection of speakers to deliver broad keynote presentations.
 
Condensed matter and materials scientists meet in a structured but informal atmosphere to discuss their current research, future directions and other matters of importance in the field.
 
Topics include: nano- and surface science, semiconductors, photonics, materials science, magnetism, ferroelectrics, multiferroics, superconductors, and other correlated-electron systems.
 
Information for Presenters
 
Invited talks were allocated a total of 30 minutes including time for questions. Contributed talks were allocated 20 minutes including time for questions. 
 
Poster presentations were in one of two sessions, Wednesday or Thursday. Space made available for posters was 90 cm (height) and 180 cm (width).
