Up and atom: free school science tours
Up and Atom tours 2013 calendar icon

Help your students discover the world of nuclear science. Our education officers will take your group on an exciting journey into the world at the sub-atomic scale, explaining how through applying our knowledge of the basic building blocks of our universe, scientists are helping solve the big issues surrounding health, climate change and innovation for industry.

A big screen experience where the world of popular sci-fi film collides with cutting edge science. Fact or Fiction is a 90 minute show where the audience watch clips of classic sci-fi hits before individually voting, with hand held devices, on whether the technology featured is actual science fact or pure science fiction.

 science careers event calendar icon This careers workshop will include a tour of the ANSTO’s facilities with particular focus on the diverse career pathways inside a science facility.
