For the Bragg Institute to be an international leader in neutron beam and X-ray science, recognised for the excellence of its scientific endeavours, its facilities, its techniques and its people, that benefits mankind through expansion of intellectual knowledge, provision of expertise and successful outcomes of applied research.

 
The Bragg Institute mission:


1.  To 'solve problems no one else can', using our unique research expertise

3.  To encourage and support the development of research and technical staff, and students, in the pursuit of excellence in science

 

4.  To use our unique research tools to provide innovative solutions to potentially beneficial problems

 

5.  To manage and develop advanced analytical instruments based on neutron, X-ray and synchrotron radiation sources, and

 

6.  To provide expert scientific and technical advice in the neutron, X-ray and synchrotron radiation fields to government and in support of Australia's national and international research objectives.
