| A liquid helium cooled orange cryostat with a 70mm bore is available for use with most of the instruments. The available temperature range is 1.8K to 300K. In the future lower temperature inserts may be purchased.

3He One Shot Fridge
| Echidna, Wombat, Quokka Koala, Taipan, Sika, Kowari, Pelican
| A 3He one shot insert, which operates inside Orange Cryostat OC-1 or the 11T magnet HM-2 has been purchased. Samples can be cooeld to 0.3K for up to 24 hours, and then a 30min regeneration is required. Maximum temperature 80K. |
