Role at ANSTO
Andrew provides in vivo and in vitro expertise to assist in daily experiments, both at ANSTO's Lucas Heights campus and our Camperdown site located within the Brain and Mind Research Institute.
Background
Andrew completed a Bachelor’s degree in Science, specialising in Neuroscience and Psychology. Following this, Andrew completed a further year of research investigating the microvascular pathology that is commonly associated with late-onset Alzheimer’s disease. He graduated in 2011, and after a brief gap year was recently employed at ANSTO as an Imaging Support Technical Officer.
Research interests and areas of expertise
Andrew’s expertise lies in post-mortem in vitro tissue analysis, immunohistochemistry, tissue dissection, and microscopy.
