Anwen commenced her current role as F-18 Radiochemistry Postdoctoral Fellow in February 2012. Her research focus is the synthesis and radiolabelling of new fluorinated tracers for imaging Alzheimer’s disease, as part of a collaborative project with Massachusetts General Hospital (USA) and the Mental Health Research Institute (Melbourne, Australia).
Background
Anwen is currently in the final stages of submitting her PhD in medicinal inorganic chemistry at the University of Western Sydney under the supervision of Professor Janice Aldrich-Wright. Anwen joined LifeSciences in 2011 as part of the Graduate Development Program.
