Ryan’s role is to build, enhance and support the ANSTO LifeSciences molecular Bio-analytics capability.
Background
Working at Johnson and Johnson Research, Ryan obtained his PhD from the University of Sydney in 2008. His research focused on the development and use of a genetic screen to identify Human MicroRNA targets. Currently Ryan works as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in ANSTO LifeSciences.
Research interests and areas of expertise
Ryan’s areas of expertise include molecular cloning, polymerase chain reaction, gel electrophoresis, genotyping, RNA interference, genetics, gene expression, cell culture and transfection.
