Dr Ross Piltz
Staff Profile
Role at ANSTO
Dr Ross Piltz is instrument scientist for the KOALA single-crystal Laue Diffractometer. He has a PhD (Physics) from the University of Melbourne. Since joining ANSTO in 1996, and until the end of the HIFAR era, he was responsible for the 2TAN neutron scattering instruments and was the leader of the project on Image plate as neutron detectors. He is experienced in synchrotron and neutron diffraction and has written/co-authored over 25 publications in this area.
