Group and Individual Tours


Whether you are an individual or a large group, you can organise a tour of ANSTO. 
 

Individuals and small groups


For individuals, family and friends, the "Up and atom" free science tour provides a general overview of ANSTO that runs for 2.5 hours.
 

Suitable for budding scientists aged 8 to 88, “Up and Atom” tours are available on weekdays during the NSW school holidays and every second Saturday.

Monday 23 September - 1:15pm to 3:45pm

Tuesday 24 September - 9:45am to 12:15pm

Large Groups


Customised tours can be provided for larger groups (12 or more people) and are available Monday to Friday. Group tours are very popular so please have a couple of dates as options when you call the Discovery Centre on 02 09717 3090 to book.
 

In case your group would like to have lunch or refreshments before or after your tour we recommend the ANSTO Café.  The Café is open to the public and serves delicious hot meals for only $8, as well as plenty of other options such as sandwiches, hamburgers, hot chips and ice creams.
 

If a large number of tour participants will be purchasing food, you will need to notify the Café by calling them directly on (02) 8525 4426 to ensure they have enough staff available and food ready for your group.
