

These school holidays discover the fascinating world of nuclear science at ANSTO!
Our Education Officers will take you on an exciting journey and introduce you to the world at the atomic scale. You will come to understand how nuclear science and technology is applying our knowledge of the atomic building blocks of the universe to help solve some of the big issues of our time including climate change and health.
You’ll also get to see OPAL – one of the world’s most advanced research reactors – and hear about the fascinating research of some of Australia’s most talented scientists

ANSTO is located near Sutherland, 40 minutes from Sydney CBD. Parking onsite is free.
The two-and-a-half hour tours will be run daily, at either 9.45am or 1.15pm, Monday to Saturday, from 26 September until 9 October.
Tours are free to the public and must be pre-booked by calling +61 2 9717 3090. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
