ANSTO is committed to monitoring its environmental performance and providing the community with accurate information about it. We also publish live meteorological data from our 49m Lucas Heights weather tower every 15 minutes.
ANSTO has been tracking and publishing data on fine particle pollution from key sites around Australia, and internationally, for more than 20 years.
Your students can analyse real research data from ANSTO scientists.
ANSTO commenced an aerosol sampling program thirty years ago this week to characterise these pollutants and ultimately, identify their sources, which has taken it to the forefront of environmental monitoring of this type in Australia and the region.
Virtual activities celebrating the benefits of nuclear science and technology held for National Science Week
Nine PhD students are taking part in a rare opportunity to deliver an innovative solution to a real-world challenge for an industry partner in ANSTO’s National Graduate Innovation Forum in association with the Australian Council of Deans of Science and the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering.
The Biological Small Angle X-ray Scattering beamline will be optimised for measuring small angle scattering of surfactants, nanoparticles, polymers, lipids, proteins and other biological macromolecules in solution. BioSAXS combines combine a state-of-the-art high-flux small angle scattering beamline with specialised in-line protein purification and preparation techniques for high-throughput protein analysis.
