Daniel Hsu received his Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University in 2007 and is presently an assistant researcher at Center for Neutron Beam Applications at the National Central University, Taiwan, and instrument scientist for the PLATYPUS neutron reflectometer at the Bragg Institute. His research interests include magnetism, superconductivity, ferroelectricity, spintronics, multiferroics, and the epitaxial growth and characterization of multifunctional materials, with a focus on thin films, heterostructures, and patterned devices of ferromagnets, complex oxides, and also the focus of examining the novel behavior that emerges at the nanoscale interface between distinct multifunctional oxide materials.
Qualifications and achievements:
Ph.D., National Taiwan University, 2007
M.S., National Taiwan University, 1998
B.S., National Central University, 1996
