Mr Mark New provides technical support for the operation and development of the OPAL Neutron Guide Hall instruments and facilities.
His expertise includes precision assemblies and general assemblies of varying sizes, including research and development as well as the design and manufacture of components.
Mark has worked as a mechanical technician for Kirby engineering in the research and development of special purpose machinery for the automotive industry. He has a trade background in fitting and machining with post trade courses both in hydraulics and pneumatics.
