Hydrogen economy 2007

A National Community Focus Day was held by ANSTO's Neutrons for the Hydrogen Economy research team, on Friday, 22nd June, 2007, in the OPAL auditorium at ANSTO's Bragg Institute.

The purpose of this day was to identify key issues in the energy and hydrogen economy within the greater community and discuss how these might be addressed by the various neutron-scattering techniques and the strategy of any collaborative groups that may form from this. This comparatively small meeting will be structured to promote discussion in 3 broad areas: hydrogen production (encompassing separation), hydrogen storage, and energy production (encompassing battery and fuel-cell research).

This was organised by Vanessa Peterson.
