Neutron School poster
This school will provide training for newcomers to neutron scattering focussing on important classes of structural and functional materials. We will not only have lectures but also practical sessions with hands-on experiments and data analysis.

This school is aimed at PhD students, post docs and other novice users and will be limited to 35 people. Participants will be selected based on an abstract (300 words max.) outlining an aspect of their scientific project to be presented as a poster at the school. The abstract should also address how neutrons could help in their research projects, give the name of the supervisor and indicate which instrument to use in the practicals.
Participants will be asked for a course fee of AUS$275 (early bird until 17 June). This includes 5 nights (shared accommodation) and all meals. One evening: Sydney harbour cruise with dinner. Accommodation will be shared twin rooms (a single room will be at extra cost - if available) in the Lucas Heights Motel close to the site (arrival Sunday 14 August afternoon/evening for registration and finish Friday late afternoon).
Participants of AINSE members institutions are eligible for reimbursement of travel costs.
