
Arrange your Business Visa. You cannot access ANSTO if you are travelling on a tourist visa. For business visits to Australia for up to three months, there are three visa options:
eVisitor (subclass 651)
ETA (Business Entrant) (Subclass 956 and 977)
Business (Short Stay) (Subclass 456) visa

eVisitor (subclass 651)
European passport holders have access to the new eVisitor service when applying online for authority to visit Australia. To access this service, click here.
Visitors from the following countries and states are eligible to access the eVisitor service:
Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Norway, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Republic of San Marino, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom - British Citizen, Vatican City.
Note: Holders of a British National Overseas (BNO) passport are not eligible to apply for an eVisitor and cannot apply online. For information on an appropriate visa.
ETA (Business Entrant) (Subclass 956 and 977)
The ETA is available to passport holders from the following countries or states:
Brunei, Canada, Hong Kong (British National (Overseas) passport holders, cannot apply online - must apply in person, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passport holders), Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan (must be resident in Taiwan Area), United States.

Business (Short Stay) (Subclass 456) visa
For business people who are not eligible to apply for an ETA or an eVisitor. This visa entitles the holder to remain in Australia for up to three months on each visit within a 12 month period from the date of grant, or for the life of the passport if it is less than 12 months (single or multiple entry). No sponsor is required.
