Workshop participants should make their own arrangements directly with the accommodation of their choice.
There are three hotels offering special deals for ECRIS 2012 participants (see below).
If these do not suit you, there are many other options within walking distance of the workshop venue – try an internet search to find them. Most downtown Sydney accommodation is within walking distance of the venue.
Special deals:
1) Ibis Hotel, Darling Harbour (100m from venue) and Novotel, Darling Harbour (200m from venue). Ibis and Novotel are managed by the Accorr organisation and have made the following offer:
We offer a 15% discount off our best available unrestricted rates for attendees at ECRIS 2012.
For the 24h September for 5 nights 2012, the rates are currently as per below:
- Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour – from $267.75 per night Harbour View
- Ibis Sydney on Darling Harbour – from $201.45 per night Pyrmont View
The above rates already include the 15% discount but change daily and will increase as our occupancy increases.

Please note that some weekends may incur a minimum 2 night stay requirement which is subjected to availability at time of booking. We would appreciate if you can ensure all guests are aware of this.
2) Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments, Darling Harbour (300m from venue). Offer subject to availability of rooms. See rates and booking form. Although described as a ‘group’ booking form, it should be used for individual bookings, and the group rates will apply.
