ANSTO's Institute of Materials Engineering (IME) plays a significant role in maintaining Australia's international profile in the field of nuclear science and technology. It aims to develop, manufacture, characterise, model and - ultimately - utilise materials in support of the advanced nuclear fuel cycle and next generation power systems.
