ANSTO's Nuclear Sensors project aims to optimise production processes for nuclear sensors and the transfer of technology to key partners. The key partnerships are supported by the Australian Research Council, the National Health and Medical Research Council and the Australian Institute of Nuclear Science and Engineering Council.
The ANSTO team core efforts will lie specifically in the development of nuclear techniques to answer questions, and our key partnerships will provide the necessary skills in toxicology, application and re-engineering.
Grants
More than 50 per cent of the Nuclear Sensors project is funded through grants from the ARC - Centre of Excellence in Anti-matter Matter Studies, NHMRC Discovery Toxicology of Nanomaterials; ARC Discovery Protein fibre powders: production characterisation and applications, as well as four AINSE grants.
