In 2010 ANSTO was able to offer for the first time a Fulbright Scholarship to Australian citizens wishing to carry out research or study in the United States of America in the field of nuclear science or technology during 2011.
Applications for the 2012 Fulbright Australian Scholarships are now closed and will reopen for the 2013 scholarships on 1 June 2012.
The United Uranium Trust Fund was established in 1966 for the promotion and encouragement of scientific research and education in the field of atomic energy. In accordance with the Deed, the United Uranium Scholarship recognises outstanding ability and promise in the field of nuclear science and technology, specifically as it applies to nuclear energy. Successful applicants will demonstrate a history of interest in nuclear energy and a desire to continue this interest.
