Advanced Nuclear Systems
ANSTO's Advanced Nuclear Systems Program conducts a range of commercial, applied, and discovery research projects related to the nuclear fuel cycle and other areas of national or international interest.
Three major research tasks are undertaken by ANSTO as part of the Advanced Nuclear Systems Program. These projects include support for SynrocANSTO on commercial projects dealing with legacy nuclear materials in the US and UK and applied R&D in the The Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) for Polymers. The tasks are:
Key performance outcomes include a significant contribution to the generation of commercial income, high quality scientific publications, and the development of national/international research collaborations for the development of clean and renewable energy production.
