Helen's research interests focus on determining the thermoelastic properties and crystal chemistry of a range of minerals which are of interest in a variety of environmental, planetary geology and industrial settings.

John is currently one of two co-Directors of the Health Research and Technology Group at ANSTO.

He is Director of the ANSTO node of the NCRIS National Imaging Facility and is a member of the NIF Scientific Advisory Committee.

Originating from regional NSW, Thom moved to Melbourne in 2006 to commence studies at Swinburne University. In 2008 he undertook an exchange at Kunsthochschule Weißensee, Berlin before graduating with first-class honours in 2009.
