Public Interest Certificate (PIC) notification schedule

A public interest certificate (PIC) is a document issued by the ANSTO Board (or their delegate) in accordance with section 22 of the Government Procurement (Judicial Review) Act 2018 (the JR Act).

A PIC will only be issued where the ANSTO Board or their delegate concludes that it is not in the public interest for a particular ‘covered procurement’ process to be suspended while applications for injunctions are being considered or complaints are being investigated under the JR Act.

Further information about the operation of the Government Procurement (Judicial Review) Act 2018 (Cth) with respect to the issue and publication of a PIC can be found in Resource Management Guide 422 (Handling complaints under the Government Procurement (Judicial Review) Act 2018)on the Department of Finance's website.
