ANSTO recruiting three new nuclear science and technology leadership positions

ANSTO is now accepting applications for three Director positions within the Nuclear Science and Technology group: The Director of the Nuclear Materials Research and Technology Group, Director of Environment Research and Technology Group and Director of the Health Research and Technology Group.

“We are combining our platform and research teams into larger groups to deliver a range of benefits to achieve on ANSTO’s strategic goals by research excellence, a focus on people and infrastructure and appropriate governance,” said Dr Andrew Peele, Group Executive, NST.

“Given the priority that these areas represent for Australia, we are looking for inspirational leaders with excellent advocacy skills, among other criteria,” he added.

The establishment of the roles allows ANSTO to focus its facilities and capabilities for nationally strategic purposes;  retain and strengthen current facilities access and training for leading research;  create organisational change for strategic research, encourage courageous leadership in Nuclear Science and Technology and ensure good practice in research.

Those who are appointed will become key members of the NST Leadership team.
