Hellstedt is a Fellow of Engineers Australia, a Chartered Professional Engineer, an Engineering Executive and past Victorian Professional Engineer of the Year.

“We are very fortunate Anne has joined the Precinct during this critical formation period, as her range of experience and leadership skills in sustainability are a great fit for the challenges ahead,” said Jenkinson.

“She has that rare combination of sound industry knowledge plus a fundamental understanding of how to drive innovation and sustainability.”

Hellstedt said that she was inspired by a development with the potential to become a nexus of industry, ANSTO’s unique capabilities and academia to bring benefits to Australia. “By using the power of science, the ingenuity of scientists and industry professionals to achieve sustainability goals, we can make progress for a better future. “
