Hamish is a Chartered Engineer (CEng, MIChemE) with plenty of experience of the pharmaceutical industry and fresh experience in nuclear medicine having recently joined ANSTO.
Hamish studied undergraduate Chemical Engineering at Newcastle-upon-Tyne (in the UK), and more recently completed a distance learning Master of Science (MSc) in Industrial Project Management. Their technical knowledge spans process design, process safety, technical transfer of chemical processes, and the design, commissioning, qualification, and validation of new process equipment.
Currently, Hamish is project managing several Capex projects to improve the capability of one of the ANSTO Heath buildings: installation and commissioning of a new Water-for-injection plant, and the design & procurement of new equipment for the manufacture of Lutetium Chloride.
