Richard Zanner is an experienced executive leader with a career spanning public, private and not-for-profit organisations across healthcare, infrastructure, education, government and commercial sectors. In his role at ANSTO, Richard leads the organisation’s risk, compliance and assurance functions, supporting strong governance, organisational resilience and the effective management of enterprise risk.
Prior to joining ANSTO, Richard held senior executive and advisory roles leading organisational change, business transformation and complex infrastructure and asset portfolios. His experience includes executive responsibilities and leadership of significant organisational transitions, major capital programs and critical asset portfolios in complex operating environments.
Supported by qualifications in business, disaster risk science and engineering asset management, together with completion of the Australian Institute of Company Directors program, Richard brings a breadth of experience well aligned to ANSTO's assurance, risk and compliance priorities.
