You may replace any nominated Attendees at any time before the Start Date by giving written notice to ANSTO.

You may cancel the enrolment of any or all Attendees by giving written notice to ANSTO at least 48 hours before the Start Date. ANSTO will deduct an administrative fee and then provide You with a refund as follows:

  • 8 days - 14 days notice - 75% refund of amount paid
  • 48 hours - 7 days notice - 50% refund of amount paid

If ANSTO proposes to cancel or reschedule the Course (due to insufficient enrolments or otherwise), ANSTO will let You know at least one week before the Start Date and will (at Your option) fully refund amounts already paid by You for the Course or reserve a place for the Attendees in the next available course of the same duration as the Course.

Safety issues:

You must ensure that the Attendees comply with all directions of ANSTO personnel in relation to the Course and any access to and use of ANSTO’s premises, facilities and equipment. ANSTO reserves the right to remove any Attendee from the Course if, in ANSTO’s opinion, they harm or endanger the safety of any person, animal or property. No refund will be paid if this happens.

Course assessment:

If you are dissatisfied with the assessment result received you are entitled to have your assessment task reviewed. Appeals must be made in writing within fourteen days of receipt of your assessment result. The original assessment will be reviewed by a qualified person within ANSTO. You will be advised of the result of the assessment appeal in writing.

Personal information:

You agree that ANSTO may use Your and the Attendees’ contact details for the purposes of conducting surveys regarding the Course, for providing information about other services and courses that ANSTO may conduct from time to time and for similar purposes. You and the Attendees may at any time request in writing that their details no longer be used for such purposes.

Liability:

To the extent permitted by law, all representations, warranties, terms and conditions which would otherwise be implied in these terms and conditions are excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, ANSTO’s liability in connection with the conduct of the Course is limited at ANSTO’s election to refunding the amounts received by ANSTO from You in relation to the Course or to conducting the Course again.

To the extent permitted by law, ANSTO will not be liable for any indirect, economic or consequential loss, including without limitation loss of profit, goodwill, liability to any third party, third party financial loss or lost opportunity in connection with the Course or these terms and conditions.
