COVID-19 Update - Radiation Safety Training Courses
Radiation training courses have now resumed. To support the health and safety of our visitors and teams we have implemented a number of additional measures. Our courses may be delivered slightly differently however this will not impact your overall learning experience. Course Objective
Develop sufficient radiation protection knowledge and skills to recognise:
- the need for an operational and management framework for the safety and security of radioactive substances
- their radiation safety responsibilities when working in a controlled or supervised area with radioactive substances
Audience
Personnel that have operational or management responsibilities for fixed radiation gauges, portable moisture/density gauges, or borehole logging equipment in industries such as mining, oil and gas, geotechnical engineering, manufacturing, construction, or agriculture.
NB those working with fixed or portable x-ray gauges are recommended to attend the Safe Use of X-Ray Equipment training course.
