Ms Penelope (Penny) Dobson has worked as a global executive in the healthcare sector for over 35 years in Australia, Japan, New Zealand and the United States.
Ms Dobson is a Principal of Valida Consulting and a Non-Executive Director of Invetus and Althea. She is a former Vice President and Head of Marketing of the Japanese subsidiary of Merck and Co Inc, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.
She has held previous Board memberships at the Centre for Gender Economics and at Tokyo English Lifeline.
Ms Dobson is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Macquarie University and a Diploma of Pharmacy from New Zealand. She is also a registered Pharmacist in Australia.
Ms Dobson is a member of the Remuneration & Nomination Committee.
