Radiation Safety Training

Radiation Safety Training

Radiation safety training courses delivered at ANSTO's Lucas Heights precinct offer access to on-site radiation facilities and our expert team also deliver bespoke courses around Australia.

Nuclear and ionising radiation detection and dosimetry

Nuclear and ionising radiation detection and dosimetry

Our services include the use of techniques to develop innovative radiation detector technology, such as performing alpha spectroscopy to characterise charge collection capability and radiation transport simulation.  We also have expertise in measuring the electrical characteristics of novel detectors and semiconductor devices.

Immunofluorescent assay

Radiation biology

The measurement and manipulation of radiation and radioactive materials within biological systems. Capabilities include access to a range of radioisotopes,   gamma/X-ray sources and a selection of X-ray beams, ion beams and neutron beams for irradiation.
