X-ray fluorescence microscopy

Techniques

The x-ray fluorescence microscopy beamline (XFM) offers a range of x-ray fluorescence techniques at micron length scales using the KB mirror microprobe and milliprobe respectively.

SXFMScanning x-ray fluorescence microscopy
XRF-μCTX-ray fluorescence micro-computed tomography
XANES

X-ray absorption near-edge structure: XANES imaging (Maia), or single point (Vortex) for oxidation state fingerprinting

DPCDifferential phase contrast imaging of low-Z ultrastructure
Ptychographyhigh resolution imaging (under development)

Please check the Beamline updates page for the latest techniques.
