Python Playtime Workshop: Code your way to fun and adventure!

Ages 9 to 14yrs 

This is the perfect workshop for young learners who have some coding experience with Scratch or other block-based programs and are ready for the next stage in their coding journey.

Python is a widely used programming language and whether your child is interested in coding as a hobby or wants to pursue a career in technology, learning Python is a great way to get started.

Through fun and engaging projects, kids will learn how to use Python’s clear and easy-to-read syntax to create interactive quizzes that test their knowledge, stunning artwork that showcases their creativity and exciting games that support the development of agility and problem-solving skills.



Additional Information

• Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop at the ANSTO Discovery Centre.
• Workshop includes a recess and lunch break outside (weather permitting). Please bring a bag with sunscreen, snacks, a hat and drink bottle.
• All workshops are delivered by accredited educators with experience in science, engineering, programming and robotics.
