Micro-Computed Tomography (MCT) beamline - hutches installation underway

Updates on installation of Project BRIGHT beamlines

Good progress on BioSAX despite lockdown challenges

The radiation shielding hutches for the fourth BRIGHT Beamline, BioSAXS, arrived at the Australian Synchrotron in early August. The European manufacturer worked alongside a Victorian engineering company with specialist engineering and technician teams from the Synchrotron for a seamless installation.  Completion of the hutches is on track for October 2021.
