Dr Ross Piltz is an expert in single-crystal neutron diffraction with more than 25 years experience in the field. He commissioned the Koala instrument and wrote the data analysis suite, LaueG, for the accurate analysis of data from it. His publications often reflect his background in Physics and Materials. He has over 1000 citations and 60 publications.In 2014 he received the ANBUG Award for Outstanding Research "In recognition of his contributions to advancing single-crystal neutron diffraction in Australia.
